ADMISSIONS PROCESS

 

Selecting your child’s early childhood educational facility is an extremely important decision.  We at Pathways Academy wish to be supportive and informative while you proceed through your selection process.   Please do not hesitate to contact us at any point to ask questions, as we are always happy to help.

 

STEP ONE - VISITING THE SCHOOL

The initial stage of the admission process is designed to familiarize families with all aspects of our school, while allowing us to become acquainted with you and your child. 

Pathways Academy is extremely proud of our facility, staff and students.  We enjoy every opportunity to showcase our school. We believe that the best time to see our school is when classes are in session. Therefore, it is beneficial, if possible, to arrange a tour during school hours. It is recommended to prepare questions you may have prior to your tour, as it is a perfect opportunity to ask questions pertaining to your child.

Following the tour of the campus and/ or attending an open house, families will be invited to the main office at which time you will be provided with information on the enrolment process.

 

STEP TWO - REGISTRATION REQUEST

 

Admission into our program is dependent on availability of space. Interested families will be placed on our application list in the order in which they applied. We strongly encourage families to indicate their flexibility in enrolment requirements for the upcoming school year. Once an opening occurs, families will be given the option to submit a registration request to the office, along with registration fees in order to secure your child`s placement. In addition, a New Student Enrolment fee is required for new student admissions only. 

 

Please Note: All registration fees and enrolment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

On your Registration request form, you may indicate your preferred days of attendance; if your first choice cannot be met Pathways will contact you for alternate choice in attendance (if available).  In the event your child cannot be placed, a full refund will be issued.  Priority will be given to children requiring five (5) full days or five (5) half days of enrolment.  In addition, current families with siblings who wish to register will be given registration priority.

 

Elementary Program:

Families applying to have their children attend our Elementary Program (Grade 1 - 6) will be asked to provide previous assessments and report cards.

 

STEP THREE - CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT

Families are sent an Enrolment package to be completed prior to your child's first day of school. Information on school uniforms and policies are included to help you prepare for the school year.  We are happy to guide you through the Enrolment package should you have any questions. We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our Pathways Academy family.
